FUEL for the cult
ranger: why do you love the mac? why do you think mac users love your software?

cs: we think mac. you know, that non-quantifiable, magical macintosh quality that we all love to death but can't really explain in human terms.

sf: i've always liked the ideology of the mac -- that something can be simple, yet powerful, and beautiful all at the same time. mac users love us because we design software that adheres to that philosophy.

cs: that, and i think we're not afraid to put ourselves into everything we do, from the web site to the code to the e-mail receipts. it's us, because, well, it's us! in today's world, most companies are too busy driving safely to show a bit of personality -- but we might offend kansas! -- and i don't think customers will truly connect to a company unless they can see a little bit of the souls shining from within.

ranger: a train leaves albuquerque at 12:07pm, accelerating at a rate of 93 meters per seconds and hitting a top speed of 35 miles per hour; its destination is portland or. if i am on that train with a laptop, what mp3s am i listening to?

cs: i hear you're a big mason williams fan, so you might be listening to a little "classical gas.mp3". and, frankly, you should be ashamed for it.

sf: wait, i don't get it. after just one second, wouldn't the train be going almost six times its alleged top speed?

ranger: what in life are you passionate about?

cs: humor, creativity, music, spontaneity, and all things ferrara pan.

sf: humor, creativity, clean code. and i could really go for some chinese food right about now.
